About Me
Hi and thanks for reading more about me!
I’m Tom Chenault. I’m a 30+ year veteran of the network marketing profession, a verified 7-figure earner, and a relationship expert based in Longmont, Colorado.
My Story
Success has not always been in the cards. Like most network marketers, I spent a lot of time going broke enthusiastically and taking other people with me. Having been a successful corporate airplane salesman and stockbroker, I just couldn’t wrap my arms around the skill sets necessary to build and keep a big organization. I thought I could bully and buy my way to success, just like in corporate America. It doesn’t work in this profession. You have to inspire and love people.
That lesson changed everything. I dedicated my life to teaching people how to treat people like human beings before they’re prospects. I wrote The Coffee Shop Interview with my son Adrian — a book about having real conversations and remembering people, not following them up. Thousands of copies have sold on Amazon. The methodology behind it led us to build Contact Mapping, a networking app that Adrian later sold to NowSite.
Work
I’ve hosted the longest-running home-based business radio show in the world since 1999. It has transformed into the Legacy Leadership Show, which I now co-host with Adrian. Our guests have included Mark Victor Hansen, Ivan Misner, Mitzi Perdue, Kim Kiyosaki, Jerry Colonna, and Harvey Mackay, to name a few. Live every Tuesday, we bring professional content that benefits anyone in a relationship-building profession.
I’m also a Black Diamond Ambassador at Youngevity, where I focus on senior nutrition. Over the years, more than one million people have bought my vitamins worldwide. You can find my nutrition products at tomsnutrition.com.
I’ve been a passionate supporter and vocal advocate for the network marketing profession for decades. I’ve served on the board of the ANMP and the MLMIA, and I was inducted into the Network Marketing Hall of Fame.
Personal Life
Together with my wife and partner Denice, we’ve been featured on numerous stages, including Eric and Marina Worre’s GoPro events, and in numerous articles and books, including The Four Year Career. We have three children — Adrian, Courtney, and Dominic — and three grandchildren. I own a Cessna airplane, I travel a lot, and I spend time working with people in AA, homeless communities, and troubled kids around the world.
